Families - Families today come in all shapes and sizes. Traditional, single parent, same sex parent, multi-generational, and blended families abound.  No matter who lives in the home, healthy communication, working out schedules, establishing rules and boundaries, and creating and maintaining family traditions are key to everyone's health and happiness.  We can work with you and the members of your family to find positive routes towards your goals.

Co-parenting - It is all about the children.  Regardless of your relationship with your child's other parent, working together and creating a loving, stable and consistent environment is the greatest gift you can give your child. The coaches at Family Directions will work with any combination of family members to point you in the direction of balance in your separate yet connected homes.

Individual - At Family Directions we understand the importance of the individual.  Finding fulfillment both personally and professionally enables one to create an environment of joy, intimacy and abundance in every aspect of one's life.  Let us assist you in discovering and attaining your goals through the coaching relationship.

Pregnancy - The journey through pregnancy to parenthood is an exciting and wondrous time for both moms and dads.  It can also be a time of  uncertainty filled with countless questions and considerations. We can help you navigate your way through the physical emotional and social changes that you are facing.

Newborns - Following nine months of anticipation and preparation, the reality of bringing home a newborn can be a challenging one. We can guide you through these early months by helping to establish healthy
sleeping and eating patterns that work for you and your family.

Infants - As your little one grows and changes in the first year, so do the questions. We can set you on a path to adjusting schedules, weaning, introducing foods and redirecting and making transitions smooth.

Toddlers - Striving for independence is the earmark of the toddler years. Temper tantrums, picky eating, toilet learning, often hearing "No! Me do" and ever evolving sleep schedules can take a family off course. We can assist you in managing these challenges and moving from the "terrible" to the "terrific" twos.

Family Additions - As your toddler grows many families start to think about "When is the right time to add to our family?" Questions like "What is the best age span between siblings?", "How will my toddler handle a new baby?" and "Can my family adjust to yet another schedule change?" frequently emerge at this stage. Coaching can help steer you and your family through these, and other life changing choices and decisions, so you can discover what is right for you.

Preschoolers - No longer a baby, the new little person in your home brings a whole new dimension to your family. Finding your way through extreme persistence, testing limits, and constant questions can be a bumpy road. Let us work with you to develop positive ways to cope with these challenging feelings and behaviors.

Big Kids -  (6-10) There are many changes children face during these school age years. Some include the beginning of true responsibility, at school and home, navigating new peer relationships, both positive and negative, and increased extra curricular activities. Coaching can focus on assisting families in mapping out these uncharted territories.

Pre-Teen - (11-13) Change, change, change. With so many forks in the road, the path to adolescence is filled with many bumps and turns. "Who am I?", "Where do I fit in?","How do others see me?", "Where am I going and "How do I get there?" The ever changing relationship with your child can sometimes be filled with tension. Coaching focuses on you and your family constructing a smooth road on the journey to young adulthood.

Adolescents - (14-17) It seems like only yesterday your little one was taking their 1st steps. Now, you can't keep them around. The constant move towards becoming their own person seems to have turned into a sprint. Parent coaching can provide you and/or your teen with tools that can help you guide your young adult towards independence while providing the boundaries and security they still need.
